We are a small towing company located in the heart of Markham, ON and are looking to add a new member to our team

Cardinal Towing is hiring a Shop Assistant/Runner to assist with fleet & property maintenance.

As an integral member of our team, we need someone to perform the following tasks:

- Light duty services on our fleet: _LOF, Greasing the trucks, Hydraulic repairs, Washing/Detailing the trucks_
- Dropping off trucks & picking them up from repair shops
- Picking up & dropping off parts
- Keeping the shop & tools organized/tidy
- Assisting with maintenance of impound yard: moving vehicles around/clearing snow/salting
- Attending impound yard with vehicle owners to faciliate access to vehicles and assist with releases.

We currently require someone who possesses the following skill set:

- Basic mechanical (automotive) knowledge/experience
- Organization
- Ability to multitask
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Drivers License (G)
- Willing to work outside in all weather as necessary

**Must speak fluent English**

Previous experience in the towing industry is an asset but not a requirement.

**Only applicants that complete the skills tests will be considered.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- mechanical (Automotive): 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License (required)
