North Bay, Canada Binx Professional Cleaning Full time

**The Position**: 1 OPENING
- ** Description**: Commercial Cleaner
- ** Shift**: 3 nights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) - 18 hours/week
- ** Compensation**:$17.20/hour.

**YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND YOUR OWN VEHICLE.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Completing all cleaning to standards set out in the Reference List and Staff Binders.
- Preparing all cleaning kits, chemicals, and equipment every day for proper use daily.
- Double-check all your cleaning is up to standards at assigned locations.
- Understand and follow daily schedules.
- Ensuring you are aware of the cleaning needs of each location by following the spec sheets provided.
- Taking an active effort in positive client communications when possible.

**The job involves but is not limited to**:

- Dusting and cleaning surface areas and counter surfaces.
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood/laminate or tiled floors.
- Using vacuum equipment; vacuums and cleaning carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain removal.
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
- Cleaning sinks, basins, toilets, and showers in private and public bathrooms.
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Maintaining upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
- Restocking of restroom supplies.
- Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Having previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Expectations are as follows:

- Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
- Training will be provided, however, experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Organized and able to follow a schedule.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time.
- General knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques for cleaning.
- Able to work nights and possibly some weekends if requested.
