Role Title

Financial Analyst (Summer CO-OP)

Purpose of role

The Financial Analyst CO-OP student will support the Finance department in a variety of ways, including but not limited to preparations of financial reviews, forecasting and planning, expense reporting. This student will bring their strong Excel knowledge and experience to the team to support deliverables during the term.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly/quarterly financial reviews
- Assisting in maintaining and developing the financial models required for forecasting and planning
- Assisting in the reporting and analysis of monthly/quarterly expenses
- Maintaining updating and improving operational expense tracking templates
- Assisting in business cases and other ad hoc analysis as required by the team
- Assisting in the annual and strategic planning process as required

Key Qualifications:

- A team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel skills with knowledge of VLookups and Pivot tables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Access would be an asset but not required
- Completed a minimum of one year of post-secondary education and will be returning to a post-secondary educational institution in fall 2025
- Available to work full-time from May to August 2025
- For onsite and hybrid roles, the ability to travel to 789 Don Mills, North York
- Flexible and dynamic individual who can adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements
