As the Network Analyst (Intern), you are a member of the Information Technology Department, Networking & Communications Team. During this 8-month term, you will assist the team in the planning, design, implementation and support of enterprise class data, voice and video communication systems within the organization.
Working with manufacturing facilities, administrative and sales offices spanning across Canada, United States, Europe and Asia, you plan, design, specify, and implement new data, voice and video communication systems. You also maintain network documentation, procedures, drawings, and asset inventory and get first hand exposure to cybersecurity
You are part of a valuable team, implementing network technology into the business and learn how network technology must continue to work in order for the business to be successful. You will also monitor service desk trouble/request tracking systems and will efficiently respond and resolve production network incidents and service requests.
To qualify for this role, you are currently enrolled in a Business program focusing on Information Technology. For bonus points, you have experience with configuration, troubleshooting and management of Cisco switches, routers, wireless controllers, access points, and security servers.
