**Job Description**:
**As an IT administrator**:
Reporting directly to the Corporate Director of IT, Technical Services and indirectly to the Plant Director in Poite-Claire, the IT administrator provides network and helpdesk support to operational computer networks by performing duties that support primarily the Canada Pointe-Claire plant in Quebec and occasionally the Woodbridge plant in Ontario.

- Support of the Pointe-Claire plant staff by ensuring efficiency of materials inventory levels, receiving processes, stocking, and movement of materials to production
- Contribute to plant achievement production efficiency targets.

**Regarding your responsibilities**:

- Assist Corporate IT in setup and maintenance of network operations, including assembly of network hardware, infrastructure, telephony, and connectivity equipment.
- Responsible for data and network backups based on established procedures.
- Responsible for network uptime based on established procedures.
- Responsible for network documentation and keeping documentation current.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose and resolve network problems.
- Install, upgrade, and configure all computer hardware and network printers according to established procedures.
- Install, upgrade, and configure all barcode scanning systems and troubleshooting/resolving issues with system.
- Provide users with all aspects of technical support including hardware and software installs and troubleshooting.
- Monitor, resolve, and document all helpdesk issues from end users.
- Maintain inventory of all hardware, software, and infrastructure equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors on work relating to network, hardware, software, or telecommunications.
- Participate in budget planning, implementation, and monitoring for IT purchasing.
- Other duties related to IT.

**Qualifications**:
**What you bring**:

- Bilingualism (French/English), fluency in English required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or other related discipline. Certifications may be considered.
- 3+ years in IT support field
- Development skills in DOS / Clipper programming with some PHP and PowerShell
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Precision, rigor, and attention to detail
