Advisor, Actuarial Pension Tools Support

Your main duties will include:

- Understanding and validating the needs expressed by a team of actuaries and analysts
- In collaboration with the team, maintaining the various tools with a “just enough - just in time” mindset
- Showing constant concern for guaranteeing the security and preserving the confidentiality of digital information
- Guiding development toward the execution of automated tests
- Performing the required tests throughout the development process until production, avoiding service interruptions
- Measuring the qualities of the developed solution (performance, robustness, functional coverage of the tests, etc.)
- Providing support for the software solution once put into production (anomalies, maintenance, oversight, etc.)
- Actively contributing to making sure the documentation required for the sustainability of the designed elements is present, valid and kept up-to-date
- Your career path looks like this:_
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, actuarial science or other relevant field
- Strong aptitude in mathematics
- Knowledge of pension plans (major asset)
- Experience with VB.net, VBA, SQL and C# programming languages
- High level of autonomy and ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
