1. Responsible for timely execution and record tracking of all preventative maintenance measures as instructed by hotel general manager and/or the brand. Responsible for identifying problems and/or malfunctioning pieces of equipment and timely repair/correction of the issue to prevent further deterioration of the problem.

2. Must be knowledgeable and/or willing to learn operating various maintenance related equipment such as carpet cleaner, grass mower, snow blower, electric saw, key programmer, paint diffuser, hand and power tools, etc..

4. Must possess generic knowledge and desire to learn “HOW TO” to refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters; paint and finish furniture and fixtures; repair vacuum cleaners, fix luggage carts, door mechanisms, small appliances, kitchen & laundry equipment, plumbing fixtures, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment, etc..

6. Maintain adjacent grounds: ensure curb appeal is appropriate at all times/seasons and in line with brand expectations. Ensure safety of guests is guaranteed whenever snow removal, lawn care, painting or gardening works are performed.

7. Must comply with attendance rules and be available to work per posted shift schedule.

8. Perform any other job related duties as assigned by maintenance manager, manager on duty or hotel general manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must have the ability to understand and communicate in English.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Must be fit to execute the following routine job demands: climbing, reading, standing, walking and routinely lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to receive instructions and communicate/coordinate/report progress of work assigned.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
