The Food and Beverage Manger is responsible for creating, stimulating and maintaining a vibrant food and beverage experience at Wellings of Calgary, one that attracts prospective community members, engages staff and suppliers and fosters an environment that enables existing Community Members to live life to their fullest potential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership, supervision, training, guidance, and communication to all aspects of Food Services, including special attention to the following areas.
- Food and Beverage Services
- Develop and implement techniques and resources designed to attain and maintain one hundred (100%) occupancy at all times through the creation and execution of programming and events
- Work with Chef to build and implement menus that exceed dietary requirements and resident preferences in each community
- In partnership with General Manager and Chef, hire a full complement of serving staff and kitchen team, putting in place all training and development necessary to provide excellence in all aspects of service
- Oversee all food and beverage purchasing and inventory management required
- Assist with the selection and implementation of a food/hospitality management information platform
- Ensure Wellings of Calgary exceeds the standards set by Regulatory bodies such as Public Health
- Build a knowledge base of operating best practices, procedures and policies as they relate to Food Services
- Work within the “extended market” to promote Wellings of Calgary.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
