- **Main Duties**:

- Build a healthy book of business and maintain high levels of client retention
- Develop new business opportunities by active prospecting, cross-selling and up-selling
- Engage with clients to determine their needs and provide expert advice to ensure the best coverage for them
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and proactive and effective communication
- Manage and process business (including risk assessment, quoting/marketing, reviewing coverage, processing policy changes/endorsements, handling renewals, etc.) on a timely basis
- Handle customers' and insurers' inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Support clients in the claims process, etc.
**Requirements**:
- Superior work ethic with high level of integrity, professionalism, reliability and accountability
- High level of motivation, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills with a natural ability at building authentic client relationships
- Team player
- High school diploma (minimum)
- Ribo licenced or working on Ribo Licence
- Minimum 2 years Insurance experience
- Experience in insurance companies' portals/quoting tools
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
**Experience**:
- General Insurance: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Ribo Licence or currently working on Ribo Licence
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3,130.00-$3,443.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
- Signing bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- AJAX, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
