**Position Title**: Auto Parts Store Counterperson

**Hours**:

- 40 to 44 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Alternating Saturdays

**Position Summary**

**Who are we?**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide quality customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using their own automotive knowledge, the company systems and parts catalogues
- Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
- Conduct follow-up calls to customers as necessary
- Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
- Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
- Efficiently deliver parts, being mindful of customer requests
- Help control inventory and ensure product availability
- Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
- Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet areas, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team

**Key Requirements and Experiences**
- ** 3+ years automotive aftermarket parts knowledge/experience (customer service, sales, repair) preferred**:

- ** Customer service experience** **required**:

- ** Valid G driver’s license and clean driving abstract required**:

- Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and stock maintenance experience is an asset
- Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel, online database and web-based training)
- Basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measurement
- Ability to sort items alphanumerically

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
- Ability to reliably work 40-44 hours per week
- Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) safely and consistently
- Ability to walk, stand, climb ladders and stairs, balance, lift and bend on a regular basis
