**Job purpose**

1. The Packaging Associate is responsible for assuring that the quality of all received packaging materials conform to the established packaging specifications.

2. The Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting the other departments for any requests related to packaging material.

3. The Packaging Associate is responsible for reporting to the Packaging Specialist and QA/RA Director.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Test the received in-coming packaging materials and in-house printing packaging materials against established packaging specifications.

2. Complete the release reports of the incoming packaging materials and the in-house printing packaging materials.

3. Release the approved in-coming packaging materials and the in-house printing packaging materials.

4. Inform the Packaging Specialist and QA/RA Director of any Deviations, Out of Specifications (OOS), and Non-conformities regarding the packaging materials and place them “on hold”.

5. Coordinate with the Packaging Technician and Specialist to investigate the root cause of the Deviations, the OOS, and Non-conformities of the packaging materials.

6. Archive and maintain up to date the documents regarding the packaging materials.

7. Support the Purchasing Department to approve new samples during sourcing activities.

8. Train the new Packaging Technician and Associate.

9. Work according to GMP Regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Scientific or Technical Diploma
- Appropriate work experience.

- Ability to lift heavy boxes;
- Problem-solving capabilities;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
