**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train staff to enhance their performance and development.
- Oversee merchandising efforts to maximize sales opportunities and maintain visual standards.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, cashiering, and bookkeeping.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in the interviewing process and onboarding new team members.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate record-keeping for employee hours.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Maintain inventory levels through purchasing decisions and pricing strategies.
- Foster a positive customer service experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the store manager on budgeting and financial planning initiatives.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and sales management practices is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in training & development of staff members to achieve performance goals.
- Proficiency in time management, administrative tasks, math skills, and phone etiquette is required.
