The Café Locale is located in the lobby of the Radisson Blu Hotel Toronto and we are currently recruiting full-time **Baristas **With gorgeous views of the Toronto Waterfront, and both locals and travelers at every turn, this is a busy and buzzing place to work And to top it off - the Cafe Locale team is a fun and dynamic group to work with

Barista's are responsible for making quality beverages, generally hot drinks, preparing food orders, working the cash register, and cleaning and stocking the store. Baristas must do all of these tasks quickly and efficiently while also making sure to form excellent customer relationships - we want you to be yourself and have fun everyday

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Reporting to the Café Locale Supervisor, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards**:

- Prepare and serve beverages to customers, in the café (primarily over the counter)
- Properly handle and maintain Café equipment.
- Provide prompt, professional and friendly service.
- Professionally respond to customer inquiries
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payment, following cash-handling procedures
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu offerings.
- Comply with fire regulations and all health and safety standards, including COVID protocols.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Experience in Food and Beverage department and/or industry.
- Previous experience of cash handling
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
