**About the Role**

Fix-It-Pros is looking for a reliable, skilled Handyman to join our growing team. This role offers a **hybrid compensation model** that combines:

- **Hourly pay** ($40-$50/hour) for larger projects
- **Performance-based pay** (30% of the job ticket) for standard handyman work

Here's how that works: If a job is quoted for four hours and you complete it in two, you still earn your full 30% share. If it takes longer, your rate stays the same. This structure rewards efficiency without sacrificing quality. However, any warranty call-backs or rework are unpaid—just like the company doesn’t get paid—so doing it right the first time matters.

We use a simple 2-, 4-, and 8-hour billing model for most jobs. Initially, you’ll be assigned jobs we’ve quoted in-house. As you grow with us, you’ll start quoting your own work. For each assessment visit, you’ll earn 30% of the site visit fee, and we’ll train you to price jobs in a way that maximizes both value and your income.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who are fast, professional, and want to be rewarded for results—not just time.

**What We’re Looking For**

You should have a broad skill set in residential and light commercial work, including:

- Carpentry (trim, framing, decks, fences, doors, windows)
- Basic plumbing (faucets, garburators, unclogging, toilet installs)
- Minor electrical (switches, outlets, fans, thermostats, breakers)
- Drywall repair and painting
- Siding, soffit, fascia repair
- Flooring installation and repair
- Attic ladder and cabinet installations
- Glass replacement and window repairs
- Window repair and glass replacement
- Rot and roof repairs
- Smart home device setup
- Gutter cleaning
- Furniture assembly, TV mounting, picture hanging

**What You’ll Need**
- Proven experience in general handyman services
- Ability to quote jobs confidently using our pricing system
- Strong work ethic, efficiency, and reliability
- Your own tools and vehicle (preferred, but we can provide if needed)
- Professionalism and honesty—your skills will be assessed
- Commitment to safety and respect for client spaces
