**Company Overview** Shining Stars Support Services for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder Inc. is an ABA Learning Centre providing in-center ABA, OT and SLP services. Our mission is to enhance the lives of children and their families through personalized, evidence-based interventions that reflect each child's unique strengths and needs. **Summary** We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team in Mississauga. Based in our Mississauga office you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ensuring they receive tailored interventions aligned with our mission that children can succeed **Responsibilities** - Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. - Develop individualized support plans based on assessment outcomes. - Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to implement effective strategies. - Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. - Maintain detailed documentation of assessments and interventions. - Provide guidance and training to support staff and family members. - Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in autism support and psychology. - **Qualifications**: - Masters Degree in a Psychology or Psychological related field. - Good standing with the Ontario College of Psychologists. - Valid license or certification to practice psychology in Canada. - Registration with the Ontario College of Psychologists. - Experience working with children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. - Strong skills in data collection and analysis. - Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families and professionals. - Knowledge of special education principles is highly desirable. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
