Our clinics address diverse issues across various populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.About YouIf you resonate with any of the following scenarios, we invite you to reach out:You’re a practitioner in a solo virtual practice, craving the camaraderie and networking opportunities with fellow clinicians.Working in a public institution has you feeling overworked and underpaid; but you like the stability of a full-time role, base salary, and benefits.You enjoy having the option to offer virtual appointments but would love to go into the office space sometimes as well.The instability associated with splits in private practice isn’t your cup of tea, and you seek a more secure professional setting.Your passion for working with clients is matched by a desire to explore leadership opportunities, including supervision.You want an entrepreneurial role and yearn for autonomy, but you aren’t interested in starting your own practice.You are content in your current role, but you’re open to a conversation about the potential offerings and possibilities BeWell could bring to your professional journey.RequirementsMain ResponsibilitiesProvide formal assessments and diagnostic assessments (DSM-V-TR), written reports, and recommendations for adultsProvide psychotherapy interventions to adults and/or couplesComplete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely fashionWork independently and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide both assessment and treatment servicesProvide consultation regarding psychological services to individuals, families, partner agencies, and the interdisciplinary teamMaintain high level of professional practice standards and ethicsMinimum eligibility includes:M.A., Ph.D., or Psy.D. in Clinical PsychologyMember in good standing with the Ontario College of Psychologists (CPO)3+ years of clinical experience, post-registrationDemonstrated experience in clinical interviewing, diagnosis and formulation, consultation; knowledge of typical and atypical lifespan development; experience with a broad range of psychometric tools and principles; and statistical knowledgeDemonstrated experience working with adults, and experience participating on an interdisciplinary teamExcellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal, problem solving, and time management skillsProficiency in technology is essential, including familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems and Microsoft 365 applicationsA stable high-speed internet connection, a private home office, and the ability to conduct tele-therapy sessions are mandatory if working remotelyCandidates must secure their own professional liability insuranceThe successful candidate must provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector ScreeningA strong understanding of occupational stress injuries is an assetExperience working with children and adolescents as well as adults is an assetBenefitsWhy us?Impactful Work: As a member of our clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
