Tabrizi Rugs is growing We are seeking a personable and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our winning team in a fun environment.

In this role, you will play a key role in helping customers find the perfect rugs to enhance their homes. Your guidance will help customers make informed decisions, creating a positive impact on their living spaces and lives.

We offer a competitive hourly wage, complemented by a sales commission on any rugs sold. This structure provides a stable income with the potential for additional earnings based on your performance, motivating you to excel in your role and grow with our company.

**Hours Offered**:Part-time, with opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in the showroom to help them with their rug shopping journey.
- Communicate with customers effectively to identify their wants & needs of their home decor.
- Provide information on styles, materials, craftsmanship, and care.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a kind and professional manner.
- Process financial transactions.
- Maintain communication with customers to follow up on sales.
- Assist with merchandising duties (arranging display of rugs, tagging & labeling products, and ensuring the showroom is organized, tidy, and visually appealing)

**Qualifications**:
You must meet the following requirements:

- Must have Sales experience.
- Must have Customer Service experience.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to maintain a visually appealing showroom.
- Results oriented with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Self-starter who works well independently and in team environments.
- The nature of the job requires some physical capabilities (such as flipping through racks, folding rugs on piles, and positioning rugs on the showroom floor). You should be capable of carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Located in the HRM area with reliable transportation. Punctuality is important to us & our customers.
- Interior design knowledge is a plus.

**Schedule**:

- Expected: Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays (shifts of 6 hours)
- Shifts throughout Monday, Thursday, & Friday may be coordinated if required.

This is a part-time role with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.
