Are you a commodity tax professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, fast paced environment? If so, this job is for you The commodity tax advisor will be regularly exposed to a wide range of commodity taxes in both a compliance and advisory support capacity.

Minimum Requirements:
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field- Two years of Canadian commodity tax compliance experience- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with strong working knowledge of Excel- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a deadline driven environment

Responsibilities:
- Preparation and filing of commodity tax returns including those for fuel tax, excise tax, carbon tax, sales tax and GST/HST, among others- Provision of commodity tax advice to internal stakeholders- Supports commodity tax team members to administer commodity tax compliance activities and to respond to regulatory audit inquiries including data extraction

Location and other Key Details:
- This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
