About the Role As a Senior Outbound Product Manager, you will develop and drive medium to long-term product strategy for our Workday mobile apps. You will evangelize that strategy to our customers, partners, and internal teams. You will build and maintain close relationships with our customers to understand and evaluate their needs as inputs to strategy. You will research the market and trends to recommend new capabilities that innovatively improve our experience. You will influence our go-to-market activities, and act as the "voice" of our strategy/roadmap for various external audiences. In this very hands-on and dynamic role you will: - Research and analyze mobile and market trends, data insights, and competitive analysis to develop key inputs for strategy- Understand cross functional business strategies to determine how we drive unique value and market advantages- Lead the creation, documentation, and evangelism plans for our product strategy- Collaborate with product and engineering to drive implementation of strategy through influence of priorities and roadmaps- Engage with customers and prospects frequently to present our strategy and roadmap and understand their requirements.- Work with product marketing to establish positioning and support sales enablement- Support Workday sales in articulation of strategy and roadmap in key sales pursuits and help evaluate prospect requirements- Communicate strategic vision internally and externally, help set the mission, vision, and goal for our product teams, and communicate with analysts About You Basic Qualifications- 6+ years of experience in product management or product strategy- 6+ years of experience working on mobile apps- Experience developing well-researched, data-supported, product and business strategies- Experience working cross functionally to drive implementation of strategy- Outstanding oral and written communication skills- Comfortable working between highly technical and non technical teams- Strong product proficiency with a passion for driving toward customer value and business impact Other Qualifications- Experience working with enterprise customers in a B2B environment- Knowledge of Workday sales and go to market functions preferred- Ability to think about problems from different perspectives and leverage data driven analysis to drive strategic roadmap development and prioritization- Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field to explore what, if any, reasonable accommodations or exemptions Workday is able to offer.
