**About the position**:
Currently, we are looking for a dedicated **Site Logistics Supervisor** for our **Lions Gate Hospital Project in North Vancouver.**

This is a unionized, IBEW position. If the applicant is not currently a member of the IBEW, they will be required to join.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist Superintendent and other field leaders to evaluate roadblocks and create a workplan to maximize jobsite efficiency.
- Help create material ordering/handling/receiving procedures, then implement and maintain those procedures for the duration of the project.
- Establish min/max stock levels at material lay-downs in various locations throughout the project.
- Establish and oversee the project's material handling team to maintain daily stock levels for the various installation crews.
- Coordinate deliveries to the project site with the general contractor/warehouse manager/local and out-of-town suppliers.
- Coordinate crane/hoist time for deliveries with the general contractor.
- Receive and track deliveries of large purchase-orders (lighting/distribution etc.)
- Work with the warehouse team to prepare material for just-in-time delivery to the project site.
- Manage tool inventory, including tool sign-out and tool repairs.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of rental equipment.
- Work with any suppliers that are providing Vendor Managed Inventory for the project. Review data from previous projects to help establish min/max values.
- Evaluate processes on an ongoing basis for ways to improve.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Certified Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson for at least 5 years.
- Good understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code. FSR-B is an asset
- Skilled at electrical trouble shooting and problem solving.
- Experience on construction projects an asset.
- Rigging experience an asset.
- Forklift/Telehandler experience an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable with computers: MS outlook, MS word, MS excel
- Offset shifts and weekend work may be required.
