_Rydex Freight Systems, with 35 years in the business, is the largest transportation carrier specializing in expedite in Ontario. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our in-office Operations Team._
- This is a great opportunity for Transportation Professionals who live in the York Region and want to work in York Region_
- The Transportation Coordinator role, operating out of our office in Newmarket, ON, is a key role in our organization, where coordinators address customer inquiries, schedule shipments, and resolve any shipment issues._
- Specifically:_
- _Promptly respond to shipment requests including cost-effective and creative solutions to fulfill requests_
- _Dispatch and monitor shipments, process paperwork for customs clearances, relay shipment updates to customers_
- _Maintain relationships with clients, drivers, and vendors_
- _Operate within appropriate regulations and policies_
- _Efficient order completion and administration to close shipments_
- **Logistics experience, especially in expedite is an asset.**_ _Software proficiency in the following would be an asset: TMS Software, MS Office, Samsara, Chatterbox, Slack, BorderConnect, Adobe PDF editor._

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
