Burlington, Canada Print Factory Ink Full time

Your duty is to ensure the efficient operation of a digital printing press (Xerox Iredesse) and related finishing equipment.

Standard duties of this job are:

- to create digital print files from data provided
- manipulate colour calibration to meet the client's expectations
- set up supplies and equipment
- supervise the printing press during each operation
- perform bindery and packing of printed products
- attention to detail, identify and correct errors

Your responsibilities as a digital press operator also include:

- performing maintenance on machines
- reviewing proofs and final product samples before releasing them to customers
- cleaning the work area, and monitoring supply levels.

It also requires the ability to interpret work orders and maintain a production schedule.

The primary qualifications are:

- a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Previous experience with digital and wide format printing.
- strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- To fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a digital press operator:

- need a robust understanding of front-end printing press software
- proficiency with the setup and operation of printing machines
- a keen colour vision
- ability to coordinate with other employees to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
- ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment.
