Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Company is looking for energetic and enthusiastic leader to run our Farmers markets and external promotional events. In this role you will be responsible for building our Farmers and Seasonal Markets direct to consumer business, managing this business unit, including training, and managing of staff. This role is also responsible for managing our outside promotional events, including beer events and a variety of festivals. You will be our lead brand ambassador, working across multiple areas of the business in promotion of the Blind Enthusiasm brand across multiple channels.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Build and manage the Farmers Markets Program and Promotional Events Program:

- Source and make recommendations for markets and events, primarily in Edmonton and area, but including key markets in other Alberta regions
- Establish display/booth requirements per engagement and ensure we have secured all necessary equipment to support successful and professional representation of the breweries
- Manage all staffing requirements, including hiring as necessary to support the programs (staff will be from existing Blind Enthusaism employees already working in the business as well as new hires dedicated to markets and events)
- Manage all outside event schedules
- Ensure all team members are trained and well educated on all product offerings

Represent Blind Enthusiasm at a variety of markets, events and sales engagements. Conduct tastings and samplings in a multiple settings. Engage with the public and share your expert knowledge of our special products. In this role you’re a player and a coach, working alongside your team at the various engagements.

Work closely with the sales team, support sales efforts through licensee sampling and a variety of tasting events.

Set up and tear down of event booths and sample stations as required.

Represent our products and unique processes with passion and expertise. Stay current and have a detailed knowledge of all our product offerings. (you will be well supported on this front)

Ensure compliance of all events with provincial regulations and company guidelines.

Gather consumer insights, share findings and comments with leadership. Provide feedback to make our event presence stronger and more effective.

Build and grow relationships with key stakeholders and contacts.

Create social media posts and stories about and at events, let our customers know where the fun is at

Has experience successfully engaging with the public in a sales or service environment, you are the type of person people call out specifically in positive company reviews

Has a passion for beer and will feel proud representing a great local product.

Is a leader and feels confident training and managing staff.

Has an entrepreneurial spirit and natural skills in event production and project management. Outside markets, including Farmers Markets and Seasonal Markets is a new pillar for our business, and you will be building the foundation of this program from the ground up.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Very outgoing personality, an ability to connect with people comes naturally to you.

Social media savvy - skilled in engaging content creation.

Promotional & special events experience - strongly preferred

An added bonus would be an understanding of wine production processes. Many of our barrel fermented products have a taste profile similar to natural wines, being able to explain the similarities and differences would be beneficial.

**Requirements**:
Proserve

A current driver’s license

Minimum 2 years experience in a management or leadership role with direct customer engagement, sales or service related to alcohol preferred

Nice to have - WSET or Cicerone training

This role requires work on weekends and evenings.

**Physical Demands of the Job**:
Carrying and lifting up to 85 pounds (a full 30L keg)

Standing and walking for extended periods of time

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
