Delivery Driver

**Summary**

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilities will include the correct loading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. The Delivery Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures. This is an entry level position.

**Job Duties**
- Perform pre-trip inspection of delivery vehicle
- Operate delivery vehicle in a safe manner
- Abide all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Review orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
- Assist with unloading of items in accordance with company requirements
- Adhere to assigned/unassigned routes and follow time schedules
- Prepare paperwork relating to deliveries
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service
- Additional responsibilities as required

**Warehouse Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and efficiently pick, organize, and verify orders for delivery or pick-up
- Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments
- Assist in the completion of inventory and cycle counts

**Requirements**:
In addition to 2+ years driving and delivery experience, you have:

- Valid Class 5 **Advanced **driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of the City and surrounding areas
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced working environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback into work
- Current Driver’s Abstract with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Open and eager to learn new skills
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

**Required personal protective Equipment**
- Steel toed footwear

**Work Conditions**
- Travel required
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
