Portable Cleaner

**Overview**: - "At HALCO Portables, our strength is in our people, whose passion translates directly into the friendly, timely and reliable service they provide"_ As a Portable Cleaner & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for preparing Portable Washrooms for delivery in our clean-shop, and transporting the Plastic Modular Washrooms to our valued customers worksites and outdoor locations in the Niagara Region. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent customer service skills, a G class License, 5 years or better driving experience (professional experience not required) and a clean drivers abstract. **Roles and Responsibilities**: - Prepare, powerwash & refresh plastic portable washrooms to Halco standards. - Restock plastic portable washrooms as needed. - Stage and organize clean plastic portable washrooms for delivery. - Deliver, relocate & pick-up plastic portable washrooms. - Use CRO software to navigate deliveries, pick ups and relocates, constantly communicating with the Route Manager. - Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner when dropping off and picking up units, and while conducting quality control reviews. - Perform quality control assessments on sites and/or in yard depending on the needs of the business. - Assess portable plastic and self-contained units using a check sheet and scoring system to determine if they have been cleaned/delivered to the Halco standards. - Report to the General Manager and the Routing Manager all completed check sheets. - Schedule or complete work to be done on the units inspected as required and note work that has been completed. **Qualifications**: - Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record (must be provided) - 5 years experience driving with a G class License - Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not required - Ability to operate a forklift is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately - Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks - Knowledge and understanding of proper tie down methods, how to use ratchet straps, etc. - Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial. Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
