**The Company**
Mainstreet Equity Corporation is a distinguished real estate company which is publicly traded on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 16,000 residential apartments in five major cities across Canada.
**Position Summary**
Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Digital Content Creator will be responsible for creating and promoting content on social media.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement content marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engage with tenants
- Conduct research on topics related to the company’s products and services to help identify new trend or opportunities for growth
- Manage social media channels and other forms of electronic communication
- Write, edit posts, newsletters, and other content for website, blogs and other channels
- Create digital marketing campaigns including banners, text ads, pop ups and other forms of interactive content
- Develop and maintain website to post company news and information
- Produce videos, podcasts, infographics, slide shows or other digital media formats to engage customers in new ways
- Create and manage digital advertising campaigns in collaboration with other team members to achieve specific goals, such as increasing website traffic or increasing
- Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field
- Have experience creating strong and engaging content
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Excellent at writing, proofreading and editing
- Experience of video production, including filming, editing (preferably using Final Cut Pro or similar) and delivering via channels such as YouTube.
- Excellent Adobe creative suite skills (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Excellent ability to present and design printed and digital content
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with superior multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong team-playing skills and ability to work well with others
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
