**Position Summary**
We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager, Ice Cream based at our North York Office reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, Ice Cream. In this role, you will work with a dynamic team to evolve and accelerate a portfolio of leading Ice Cream Brands including: Nestle Parlour, Real Dairy Ice Cream and Del Monte, while accelerating entry to adjacent Better-For-You segments. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a deep understanding of end to end brand building, harness your strategic curiosity and executional prowess, and become a commercial expert in the Ice Cream Category.

**A day in the life of an Assistant Marketing Manager**:
As Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be leading or supporting critical projects across the division. In addition to delivering against the strategic plans related to your portfolio, you will play a lead role taking innovation from Idea to Launch across multiple brands, supporting the overall performance of a critical piece of the Ice Cream business. You will be working daily with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with lots of autonomy and support to thrive.
- Provide fact-based recommendations to support consumer and customer initiatives that drive portfolio profitability and growth.
- Support the annual planning process, reviewing performance as well as consumer & category dynamics to establish 3 Yr and 18month plans
- Manage end to end execution of key Innovation & Renovation projects, collaborating and influencing effectively across various stakeholders to execute with excellence
- Partner closely with customer team leads to optimize the portfolio, specifically as it relates to packaging, pricing, promotions, merchandising and distribution strategies to support segment plans
- Manage launch related initiatives and communication, including launch presentations, sales kits and samples while supporting the overall integrated commercial planning process
- Gather and interpret multiple sources of data (including AC Nielsen, Customer POS, Consumer Research, Financials etc.) to provide a complete understanding of category dynamics and business health
- Support the team in improving the return on investment year over year and tracking Marketing expenses
- Harness a diverse range of perspectives and experiences, operating as a champion of the Ice Cream business unit across the broader Nestle Canada team

**What will make you successful?**
- University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of marketing or similar work experience; CPG experience is strongly preferred.
- An understanding of commercialization process within CPG with ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources and environment.
- Be self-motivated, results focused with strong analytical skills and curiosity.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and the curiosity to be an innovative thinker
- A passion to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge status quo.
- Must be able to manage change and evolve in a fast-paced dynamic and matrix environment.
