**Class 1(F) Semi Driver**

Springhill Lumber Wholesale Ltd. is looking for a full-time Class 1(F) with Air Semi Driver. This position is from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

**Rate of Pay**: $22.00 - $24.00 CAD (Depending on Experience)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections of vehicle and materials and goods;
- Deliver building materials and goods to customers’ job sites or homes in rural and city deliveries as instructed by the shipping department and ensure required paper work is completed;
- Pick up any excess building materials and goods from job sites or customer’s homes as instructed by the shipping department, and complete proper paper work;
- Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements;
- Keep a Driver’s Daily Log book up to date as per guidelines;
- Follow all traffic laws/DOT regulations;
- Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service;
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Hold a valid Class 1 (F) driver’s licence;
- Obtain and hold a Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
- Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
- Forklift Licence desired (but not required);
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required;
- Busy, high-volume environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
