Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. **Our expectations**:
The Manager, Base Pricing will be responsible for accurate execution and coordination of item’s regular prices by analyzing market price fluctuations and proposing recommendations. Leading a team of analysts, the incumbent will work closely with Merchandising and other stakeholders across the organization identifying opportunities related to pricing optimization.

**Your role**:

- Lead the Base Price team
- Act as a business partner with the Merchandising team while being a facilitator with the Master Data Management and FP&A Finance support teams
- Provide region and zone-based advice and financial recommendations while identifying risks

and opportunities concerning pricing
- Design, develop, and manage pricing strategies and processes that are aligned with the team's long-term goals
- Develop strategies and guidance about Key Value Items and special programs including EDLP, Buy in Bulk items, etc.

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Administration, Math, or a related field
- Aminimum of 5 years of experience in pricing
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership position
- Retail experience (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information; strong problem-solving skills
- Action-oriented and timely decision-making; ability to quickly turn around and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced business reporting and ability to draw sound business conclusions from disparate data
- Proactive attitude with regard to gathering and verifying business and financial information
- Autonomy and ability to set priorities and achieve goals
