**POSITION OVERVIEW**

VNI is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Project Controller** to join our dynamic Project team. In this role, you will be monitoring project budgets and financial performance, ensuring that expenditures align with the allocated budget, that the project is completed within the defined scope from a financial perspective, and proactively minimizing financial risks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**
- Budgeting & Cost Control
- Develop and implement project controls tools, processes and policies.
- Establish and implement a project monitoring and reporting plan
- Provide innovative solutions to project processes and problems
- Project Scheduling & Monitoring
- Monitoring project budgets and financial performance.
- Tracking project timelines and deadlines aligning with project spend.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders, including project profitability analysis
- Analyze project financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide insights on project performance and potential financial risks
- Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate project financial status to project team members and senior management
- Collaborate closely with Project Manager, Treasury Manager and Project Accountant to provide timely financial and performance updates.
- Collaborate with project managers and IPD members to address financial concerns and mitigate risks

- Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and possesses strong collaboration ability.
- Extensive technical knowledge and demonstrated experience of project controls processes and reporting on large infrastructure programs (Above $250M).
- Ability to develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail


**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- CPA, CFA and/or PMP would be an asset
- Minimum ten (10) years progressive accounting experience.
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Dynamics D365 - F&O (Finance & Operations)
- Ability to navigate project scheduling tools (such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Last Planner System)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
