As one of the most established and comprehensive psychology practices in Ontario, we offer evidence-based assessment and interventions to individuals and families. With offices in Brampton and Mississauga, we provide a broad range of services to individuals, private and public institutions and government agencies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to adults and/or children, adolescents, and their families.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Complete required documentation for third party payers (e.g., WSIB).
- Maintain a high level of professional and ethical standard within all aspects of work and engagement.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Excellent organization, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds is an asset.
- Experience with web-based video conferencing and telepsychology platform.
- Knowledge of case management software for accurate record keeping.
- Expertise in a variety of therapeutic approaches with solid cognitive-behavioral skills.
**Education**
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, or eligible for supervised practice.
**Experience**
- Expertise in a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities for a broad spectrum of psychological disorders.
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds is an asset.
- Working within specific evidence-based treatment for PTSD is an asset.
- Fluency in a second language is an asset.

As part of our practice, referrals are handled for you with consideration given to your areas of expertise and clientele preferences. There is the opportunity for peer supervision and consultation on a regular basis. We facilitate flexible working hours and provide fully trained administrative support staff to assist you. Administrative functions (e.g., appointment scheduling, confirmation of appointments, billings and record maintenance) are the responsibility of our trained, efficient full-time support team.
**_Compensation:_** FVB offers a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing.
**_Working Remotely_**:FVB currently operates using a virtual platform due to COVID-19 public health restrictions and College recommendations - except in the case of child assessment. When normal operations resume, practitioners may opt for virtual and/or in-person delivery of services.
