**JOB DESCRIPTION**

ASSISTANT PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER

BEST THERATRONICS LTD

LOCATION - OTTAWA, ON

STATUS - FULL TIME

**SCOPE OF POSITION.**

Is responsible for the basic soldering, cabling and assembly of all BMC products, to the required (or better) quality levels.

Assists with research, development and documentation of analog and digital electronic circuitry design, including prototype construction and evaluation, software design and creation of printed circuit board layouts using (CAD)

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Uses a microscope to carry out micro-operations under high power magnification.
- Operates the die and the wire bonding of procedures for the assembly of

BTL MOSFETS.
- Assists with the design and evaluation of, and is responsible for, the construction and modification of hand-built prototype hardware.
- Carries out varied soldering tasks to a high level of skill and accuracy.
- Flowcharts, writes and debugs microcontroller-based matching language software from a written functional description of system performance.
- Performs schematic capture and layout of multi-layer printed circuit boards optimized for performance and minimum interference due to component placement and track sizing.
- Completes all tasks to the requirements of the job-related written procedures inspection requirements of BTL.
- Performs incoming inspection and tests in accordance with BMC procedures.
- Assists in final test and packaging for shipment of BMC products.
- Other duties as required

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Precision Electronics Assembly
- Soldering skills Certification preferred.
- Excellent eye to hand co-ordination
- Patience, accuracy and attention to detail
- Good, basic English, math and computer skills
- Electronics Technology and a minimum of 2 years preferred related experiences in instrumentations’ development

**Job Types: Permanent, Full-time**
