**We are looking for PSW's who are primarily available to work scheduled shifts on the weekend( primarily days/ evenings). Must be available every other weekend or atleast 1 weekend per month. There may be opportunity to work during the week as well as the need arises**

**Description**:
**Royal Oaks Senior Living is a 103 suite Retirement Community located in the beautiful St. Thomas Ontario. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and comforting home for our residents where they can flourish and enjoy all that life has to offer.**

**Responsibilities**:
Personal Support Workers perform a variety duty to ensure the residents needs are being met.

**Job Duties**:

- Assist our residents with activities of daily living to assist them in remaining as independent as possible
- Assistance with Medications
- Ensuring infection control processes are followed
- Following the resident Care Plan as outlined
- Support the RPN/RN with work as delegated

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of one year of Personal Support Worker experience in a retirement or residential setting is preferred
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to quickly problem solve while multi tasking

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)
- Resident Care Aides: 1 year (preferred)
