Join our Canadore Employment Solutions team The incumbent will play a vital role in supporting employment readiness and success for students and clients. The Employment Engagement Representative will lead employer relations, coordinate events, conduct market research, and foster job development while strengthening partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and industry leaders. The role focuses on developing and delivering impactful non-academic programming, workshops, and events that support clients directly in building soft skills and enhancing their overall employment readiness.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-year diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of practical work experience in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or a relevant field
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with various partners, including students, employers, and community collaborators
- Experience in event planning, project coordination, and partnership development
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to foster job development and provide client support
- Knowledge of job readiness, programming and employment trends is an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership in delivering the goals of Canadore Employment Solutions, including employer outreach, partnership development, and network engagement.
- Coordinate and establish wage subsidy agreements with employers to support clients requiring additional assistance in securing and maintaining employment.
- Organize and execute events to connect clients and employers, such as job fairs, networking sessions, and employment workshops.
- Establish and maintain relationships with students, clients, local employers, external collaborators, and community partners.
- Develop project plans, define timelines and milestones, and monitor/report on progress and outcomes.
- Conduct market research to identify employment trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Assist with executing budget planning and reporting targets.
- Support supplemental client development initiatives, such as employment competitions and non-academic programming.
- Act as a liaison between Canadore College and the broader business community to promote Canadore Employment Solutions and support its goals.
