Our team is growing as the company is in hyper-growth mode - expanding rapidly through global online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart) and our own e-commerce website.

**Position Summary**:
We're looking for an experienced and creative Product/Brand Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the product development roadmap and manage the product lifecycle from idea to launch. You will be contributing to significant company growth by developing and launching new products globally.

We move quickly and take risks, unlike massive corporations. It's an exciting role for the right person.

You must be a passionate and highly collaborative brand and product marketing expert, as you'll play a vital role in expanding the brand into existing and new sports.

You are a problem solver with a strong bias for action and always eager to participate in a hands-on manner to articulate new ideas, produce solutions, and ultimately earn the confidence of everyone from peer team members to the CEO. Your efforts will directly impact the bottom line of the company. You will be among the company's first full-time hires with the opportunity to get into a rapidly growing brand at an early stage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own the development, launch, and management of all products.
- Design and develop new products, working with internal and external partners.
- Develop product roadmap by identifying opportunities in the market and gaps in our portfolio.
- Create sales forecasts and financials for new products to help determine profitability.
- Launch new products online, leveraging e-commerce and Amazon best practices.
- Manage/develop new product photography, video, packaging design, and copywriting.
- Write online PDPs and Amazon listings globally based on best practices.
- Manage GTM (go-to-market) strategy and execution for Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify, working with internal partners and external agencies.
- Own the localization/translation process to ensure the brand is represented appropriately in local languages across all markets.
- Oversee product development calendar and facilitate projects from brief through final execution.
- Provide direction & briefs to creative for all deliverables.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years' work experience in consumer goods marketing - direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce and Amazon experience preferred.
- Keen understanding of the consumer landscape, ongoing/emerging behaviour, and macroeconomic trends. Must exhibit knowledge of brand positioning and sporting goods brand dynamics.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills to thrive in a team environment.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of branding principles - brand voice, tone, personality, imagery
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced entrepreneurial/start-up environment.
- Hands-on self-starter who's willing to roll up their sleeves and be scrappy.
- Highly organized, prepared, and persuasive; confident communicator across internal/external audiences at all levels
- Keen eye for design and elevated customer experiences. Basic graphic design experience is a huge bonus for someone in this position.
- Comfortable working on various types of projects and managing the inevitable rush projects.
- Residence in Toronto (GTA) is preferred.
