Looking for a FOOD SERVICE WORKER/DIETARY AIDE for an Italian Long Term Care home

Preference will be given to individuals who have successfully completed their Food Handlers Certificate from Public Health Unit and is current. 3 dose-Vaccination, Police check and TB testing required.
- **STUDENT Friendly **_(18+ only require Public Health Food Handler Certificate)
- Responsibilities include: setting, clearing, cleaning of dishes portioning meal items as per resident/nursing request; making tea and coffee; laundry and waste removal
- Must be able to read, write and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must demonstrate proper food preparation and presentation for a variety of cultural preferences.
- Must be knowledgeable about the Long-Term Care Act
- Must be knowledgeable of special, therapeutic, and texture modified diets
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for majority of shift.
- Must be able to work accurately, quickly, and safely.
- Must be an effective team player that works well with others.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with long-term care residents.

shifts: variation of 6:30am-2:15pm; 1030am-630pm; 345-8:00pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28-35 per week

**Salary**: From $16.86 per hour
