Uptown Kia is currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team. This is your chance to join our family and work in a premium dealership known for its friendly, customer-oriented environment. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our parts department. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their parts requirements, offering expert advice, and managing the ordering and distribution of parts. We provide an excellent working atmosphere and are looking for a skilled, experienced individual to join our outstanding team.

**Job Description**:

- Ensure optimum level and security of parts inventory and anticipate parts needs based on new and prevalent models.
- Help set goals and objectives for the Parts Department.
- Ensure accurate costing and crediting for all received and returned parts.
- Maintain parts inventory by coordinating with the manufacturer on required parts, creating effective procedures to monitor both parts inventory and data input into the computer system.
- Maximize the use of factory stock orders and factory return privileges to reduce parts inventory over a specified number of months.
- Maintain inventory of failed parts for warranty claims audit purposes.
- Oversee and/or perform parts inventory counts.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.
- Ensure staff compliance with required health and safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties as required, including regular heavy lifting of tires and equipment.

Qualifications:

- Professional demeanor with high energy and a proven track record of success
- Previous experience in the automotive parts industry
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to organizational excellence
- Exceptional organizational and process management abilities
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Experience with CDK software is an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a professional presence
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
