**What We Do**:
Serving the Ottawa area since 2011, we are a leading landscaping company specializing in Backyard Living Spaces, Resodding, Softscaping, and Commercial Snow & Ice Control.

**Job Overview**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will mainly be responsible for managing all aspects of preparing costs estimates for our residential projects and generating leads/closing sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret drawings & specifications to determine project scope of work.
- Prepare timely and accurate estimates for residential projects.
- Prepare bids and proposals for submission.
- Identify labour, material, time, and overhead requirements for each project.
- Complete quantity takeoffs.
- Conduct job site visits and field measurements.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, etc.
- Assist in project planning & scheduling.
- Assist with overall sales and marketing initiatives for company.

**Requirements**:

- University Degree or College Diploma in related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Sales and Estimating experience in Residential Landscaping or Construction.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings & specifications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
- Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must be comfortable with a tape measure.
- Valid class G driver's licence with clean driving record.
- Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.

- Quickbooks: 2 years (preferred)
- landscape: 2 years (preferred)
- Interlock: 1 year (preferred)
- Preparing bids and proposals: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French and English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
