York Region Respite Care provides a great service to clients and their families, our team provides a professional and dependable service that we take great pride in.

We also have Group homes, retirement homes and Long-term Care facilities that we provide service for.

Our mission is to help clients stay in their homes and make them feel cared for.

**We provide Our clients with**:

- Assisting with actives of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping and life skills.
- Provide premium care approach to clients and their families.
- Light household duties such as cleaning, laundry and washing dishes.
- Mobility and transfers.
- Reports and charting in clients behaviour and conditions.
- Follow the Care planes provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Requires good judgement, problem solving and assessment abilities.
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize safety issues and follow safe work practice.

**Qualifications**:

- PSW, SSW, DSW certificate from approved and recognized education institution.
- Ability to travel between assignments by car.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Flexible to work days, evenings and weekends.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate.
- Vulnerable Sector Check done within the last 6 months.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
