Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on **Store Manager** to lead all aspects of our new thrift store in Trenton. This is a **full-time salaried position**, with salary to be determined based on experience. As a founding team member, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the store’s culture, operations, and community presence.

Please note: Management experience in a thrift store environment is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
**Store Setup & Operations**
- Finalize store setup and layout, ensuring an excellent customer experience
- Establish operational workflows and manage day-to-day retail activities

**Team Leadership & Culture**
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing, customer-focused team
- Create a positive, mission-aligned workplace culture

**Inventory & Merchandising**
- Oversee donation processing, sorting, pricing, and merchandise presentation
- Maintain a diverse, high-quality product mix that meets customer needs

**Marketing & Community Engagement**
- Collaborate with ownership on marketing strategies and local promotions
- Build partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses

**Customer Experience**
- Deliver a welcoming and friendly shopping experience
- Address customer feedback and continuously improve service

**Innovation & Strategy**
- Offer ideas and initiatives to position the store as a community hub and sustainability leader

Qualifications:
**Required**:

- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, with **thrift store management** strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in launching or operating a retail store
- Strong leadership, training, and team development skills
- Expertise in inventory management, merchandising, and customer service
- Passion for sustainability and community involvement

**Preferred**:

- Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (not required)
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
