Paradox Vancouver Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a fantastic vacation experience by utilizing your maintenance skills and customer service expertise. You will be tasked with ensuring that each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

As a Maintenance Tech I, you will be responsible for:

- Performing all general facility maintenance tasks under supervision.
- The preservation of optimum quality and efficient production
- Performing service requests and repairs as directed, such as painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, and carpentry.
- Maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
- Cleaning and maintaining outside landscape areas, including emptying trash, picking up trash, and performing general landscape work.
- Cleaning and inspecting building systems and report deficiencies to your supervisor while adhering to the company's safety programs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, such as doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.

We are seeking someone with a professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude with a team focus. You must have the ability to work independently or with others as needed and possess basic handyman skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
