Process Systems Specialist

We are looking for a motivated Process Systems Specialist to join our Manufacturing Operational Excellence team, supporting the build of an exceptional team and will be the GMP process / master data owner on-site when the facility is operational. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of the product manufacturing data by gathering, inputting, and verifying data in SAP and MES recipes and maintaining data accuracy through audits and data changes. Additional work will also involve maintaining data in the Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Laboratory information Systems (LIMS).

**How you might spend your days**
- Executing key data definition, design, creation and maintenance for product recipes in SAP and associated systems (CMMS, LIMS, MES and LMS / DMS / QMS)
- Developing and documenting the processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
- Creating bills of material, recipes and process orders, purchasing info records, purchasing and planning/scheduling parameters, etc.
- Identifying areas of improvement and resolve data quality problems
- Managing data initiative issues and revisions to meet internal requirements
- You will work with business/Finance/IT to align master data rules and operations
- You will ensure Master Data Management (MDM) processes are in place and followed to achieve target accuracy levels
- Troubleshooting SAP execution problems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions as well as investigating deviations and providing impact assessments for change management

**We'd love to hear from you if**
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of SAP master data experience in material master, bill of material, recipe & process order creation/maintenance in a manufacturing facility
- You are self-directed, proactive and able to work through ambiguity and drive solutions in a startup environment
- You are able to prioritize and multitask effectively and track details of multiple projects
- You have the ability to develop solutions where processes and procedures do not currently exist
- You have an excellent eye for detail and numerical skills
- You have experience in a GMP/pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment (beneficial)
- You are energized by working with teammates to contribute to the development of innovative medicines in various therapeutic areas
- You are an outstanding communicator, team player, and relationship builder, with a demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team

**What we offer**

AbCellera's hiring range for this role is CAD $96,900 - $121,200 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
