- Reporting to the Pre-commissioning Lead and working in conjunction with the Site Construction Piping Supervisors and Commissioning Supervisors, the Pre-commissioning Piping Coordinator is accountable for the planning and oversight of all Piping pre-commissioning activities for the LNGC facility. The Pre-commissioning Piping Coordinator is a key member of the Pre-commissioning Leadership Team which will work together to lead a flawless project delivery with a focus on safety and meeting all targets.
- Accountabilities:
- 1. Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed. Participate in weekly site observation card and focused audits.
- 2. Evaluate pre-commissioning deliverables at module / assembly yards (inspection, quality checks, etc.)
- 3. Define Site Piping pre-commissioning scope.
- 4. Develop detailed plans, procedures and instructions and manage the process through to implementation.
- 5. Assist with the development of the detailed integrated facility Piping pre-commissioning schedule.
- 6. Interface with the Turnover and completions team to provide direction on correct work assignments in the Completion System
- 7. Refine / validate the Piping pre-commissioning manpower estimate.
- 8. Refine / Validate the Piping equipment requirements for each system. Scaffolding/Forklift,etc.
- 9. Identify and plan the field execution work packages for implementation.
- 10. Coordination of Pre-commissioning contractors, Specialty Cleaning Contractor and Vendor Representatives.
- 11. Review project schedule and assist with the development of the detailed integrated schedule.
- 12. Assist with the creation/validation of all detailed Piping pre-commissioning procedures.
- 13. Ensure pre-commissioning Contractor personnel are in compliance with pre-commissioning test procedures.
- 14. Ensure all pre-commissioning ITRs are properly completed in a timely manner and promptly returned to the Turnover team.
- 15. Excellent understanding of LOTO, Permit to Work and site safety requirements during the energized testing in the pre-commissioning phase.
- 16. Assist with development of LOTO packages for pre-commissioning activities.
- 17. Develop and issue Notice of Energization as required prior to the start of energized pre-commissioning activities.
- 18. Strong awareness of the Prime Contract with regards to the relationship between Contractor and Owner.
- 19. Support the Turnover Leads in defining field protocols for the Turnover process.
- 20. Report discipline progress against scheduled activities.
- 21. Other duties as assigned.
- Core Activities:
- Functional knowledge of all areas of plant/facility preservation, pre-commissioning, turnover, commissioning, operations and/or maintenance technology.
- Communicating and interacting with employees at all working and management levels.
- Effective management of large volumes of data and documentation.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

- 8. Must have excellent English verbal and written language skills.
- 9. Be open to On-site project workspaces of various conditions which may include temporary office facilities and exposure to moving, mechanical parts and vibration, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and various levels of outside weather.
- 10. Must be open to work at a remote camp at the LNGC site near Kitimat, British Columbia
