Assistant Project Manager

Health Care Relocations provides specialized relocation services to the healthcare industry worldwide. We have supported over 500 health care facilities in successful transitions to new facilities. HCR services include but are not limited to, creating transition budgets, writing progress reports, supporting planning for future modes of operation, planning for activation, and planning and executing material moving and patient transfer. The Quebec Satellite Office is looking for an assistant Bilingual project manager to contribute to the planning and execution of various projects. The chosen person will be proactive, have a strong sense of organization, and be able to perform several tasks simultaneously and supervise several projects simultaneously. The assistant project manager will be required to travel with HCR and assist with the physical relocation of hospitals and healthcare facilities.

**Responsibilities include**:
**Administrative**
- Support and contribute to the planning, development, and management of projects;
- Monitor project progress and maintain oversight of all project activities;
- Follow up with stakeholders on project completion or delays, identify issues and ensure they are resolved quickly;
- Schedule meetings and update project documents and reports_;_
- Develop and maintain professional client relationships;
- Supporting and contributing to the planning, development, and management of projects.

**Physical**
- Travel within the country or internationally to plan, supervise and execute the mandates of the Quebec team. Travel will range from day work to multiple overnights at the job location within Canada and abroad. (All required travel and accommodation costs are covered by HCR. Meal subsidy included for overnight work.);
- Travel domestically or internationally to support and execute projects under the supervision of a project manager from another HCR team;
- Execute the various projects for which HCR can be mandated, in particular the physical move, the installation of equipment, reception, and delivery of medical, IT, and administrative equipment;
- Assist with the physical relocation of hospitals and healthcare facilities;
- Physical relocation management of healthcare assets (equipment, IT, furniture, etc.) as well as patient & resident relocation management.

**Requirements and skills**
- Bilingual in both English and French;
- A College or University degree in business management or a related field is preferred;
- A valid passport and driver's license;
- Be able to travel domestically or internationally for variable periods ranging from a few days to a few weeks;
- Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously;
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to continuous change;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- PMP Certification will need to be obtained with costs covered by HCR;
- Must be able to present proof of vaccinations required for high-risk settings.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
