**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Chateau Beauvallon, which manages 70 suites located at 6385 Mnt Ryan, Mont-Tremblant, QC J8E 1S5, Canada. As each unit is independently owned, the role requires a focus on not just the guest experience, but the owner experience as well.
The Hotel Operations Manager is a unique position that requires dedication to Chateau Beauvallon as well as cross over responsibilities with our Vacation rental and Suites-Sur-Lac Operations Managers, this role reports to the Directors of Hospitality, who oversee the operations manager in all the markets WesternTrust operates.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Guest Services Duties**
- Ensure that the highest standards in accommodation management are being met to maximize the guest experience.
- Professionally address any guest issues/complaints.
- Respond to guest reviews and focus on reputation management.
- Verifying reservations are correct in the system.
- All payments have been taken.
- Rates are correct.
- Special requests are addressed.
- Managing the entire customer service team which is located at Chateau Beauvallon
**Owner Relations**
- Be the primary contact for all the owners, the syndicate manager, board of directors and Lessors committee
- Professionally address any owner issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure owners have the best possible experience when using their personal units.
- Manage inventories and owner unit maintenance to preserve the condition of the unit.
- Keep track of rental pool performance, owner revenue distribution and assist accounting with any issues that may arise.
- Prepare reports and submit to management & accounting as requested.
- Create content for newsletter publications with updates for owners.
**Operations**
- Oversee all processes, procedures and protocols relating to the efficient management of the business.
- Recruiting, training, and managing all employees.
- Oversite of guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance operations.
- Establishing an effective relationship between 3rd party contractors and vendors.
- Manage payroll budgets and control expenses.
- Keep detailed records of billing and special services requested.
- Regularly inspect units to ensure they are ready for guests.
- Ensure that company standards for guest services, property presentation, and housekeeping are met.
- Monitor staff performance and provide performance reviews yearly.
- Assist and coordinate various purchases needed for operations.
- Primary contact for the syndicate manager as well as the board of directors.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
- 5 Year Hotel management experience an asset.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
- Works well independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Availability to work: days, evenings, and weekend shifts.
- French and English fluency is required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
