**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards, and efficiently managing deli operations.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Prepare and serve deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Perform basic math calculations for pricing and portioning of deli items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and satisfactory English speaking skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning products accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn about various deli products.
