We're looking for an experienced **Communications Manager** to join our team You'll play a pivotal role in managing both our strategic communication and our digital storytelling. You will implement the development of communications, public relations and media outreach plans and tactics. Your strategic thinking, leadership, and ability to create compelling content will help drive our companies' successes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to maximize awareness of our businesses and initiatives;
- Prepare detailed and well-written media reports, press releases, and marketing materials;
- Facilitate the development of content and ensure consistency and visibility across the companies' key initiatives;
- Manage external communications and collaborate with external PR firms;
- Serve as the company spokesperson for media inquiries and diffuse press releases as required;
- Collaborate with executive team to develop and execute organizational communication and media strategies;
- Proactively reach out to and pitch media; respond to inquiries from the public and media;
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new marketing opportunities and innovative strategies;
- Track and influence the coverage of the company in the media.
Skills & Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role;
- Proven experience creating and diffusing press releases;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms;
- Knowledge of copywriting, proofreading, and editing;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Thorough understanding of media operations and digital platforms;
- Functional bilingualism (strong English with basic French).
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
