Dental Sterilization

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Floater to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to industry standards. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area.
- Communicate effectively with dental staff to ensure timely availability of sterilized instruments.
- Analyze sterilization processes and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Provide support in other areas of the dental practice as required, including data entry and customer service tasks.
- Uphold phone etiquette while interacting with patients, ensuring a positive experience.
- Engage in upselling services when appropriate, utilizing strong sales techniques.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in English is essential; bilingual skills, especially in Spanish language, are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is necessary for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to analyze situations quickly and respond appropriately under pressure.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
