The Career Development Consultant / Recruiting Consultant is responsible for developing professional services that focus on clients' career development process, to provide assistance and information to our job seeker clients on all aspects of employment search and career planning.

**Description of Role**
- Interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background, and career goals
- Identify barriers to employment and assist clients with such matters as job readiness skills, job search strategies, writing resumes, and preparing for job interviews
- Collect job market information for clients regarding job openings, and skill requirements, and other occupational information
- Assess client needs and develops service plans that demonstrate the coordination of appropriate interventions to support employment goals.
- Maintain relationships with local employers to create links between clients and companies that can lead to eventual employment or internship opportunities.

**Qualifications**
- You must have the passion to help students and new grads to develop their careers, you have the compassion and willingness to hear their challenges, and are self-motivated to help.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in HR, Psychology, Education, Finance, Economics, etc.
- 1+ years of recruitment experience in a corporate or recruiting firm is preferred.
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communications skills in English.
- Strong research, sourcing skills, able to work under pressure and high-volume workload.
- Good interpersonal skills that can be applied to the client-facing environment.
- Familiar with employment websites and professional networking boards and such as LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, etc.
- Passionate facilitating workshops on a variety of career and leadership topics.
- Mandarin speaking is an asset

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
