**Your Opportunity**

The Innovation Office’s Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) team has an opportunity for a Machine Learning Operations Specialist. This individual contributor position will be a member of the Data and Analytics Program Group, which leads the firm in Business Intelligence and data services by providing architectural guidance, technological vision, and solution development. Specifically, this position will use advanced analytics, data science, and machine learning to give our business and our products a competitive advantage. It includes understanding and managing the data and how it interconnects as well as architecting data for self-serve BI and BA opportunities. This position requires a person who is business savvy, experienced in data analytics, machine learning, and enjoys framing a problem, shaping & creating solutions, and helping to champion implementation. As a member of the Digital Technology & Innovation team, the Data and Analytics group also engages in research & development and provides guidance and oversight as a center of excellence for the business. This group also engages in new product research and testing and the incubation of data analytics ideas.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Data Analytics Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

- Consult on machine learning solutions, give direction, and insight on machine learning initiatives and areas of focus.
- Build end-to-end advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions.
- Build efficient platforms for model training, evaluation, shipping, and monitoring.
- Design and train ML systems and model architecture.
- Train and tune advanced AI/ML models and put them in production via model pipelines, registry, packaging, deployment, and monitoring in a scalable way.
- Document the work process, including experiments, parameter tuning etc.
- Work with data scientists within our team, our business stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver analytical solutions to the business.
- Present periodic Tech-Talk (internal company) webinars throughout the year on the topic of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Present to external audiences as needed.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks associated with being a member of the Digital Technology & Innovation team and those typical of a Machine Learning operations specialist.

- Good understanding of end-to-end data science projects - data intuition validation, model design, implementation, validation and testing, and deployment.
- Strong proficiency with R or Python.
- Extensive experience with machine learning libraries (Numpy, Pandas, SciKit Learn, etc.) and any deep learning frameworks like Pytorch/Tensorflow.
- Hands on expertise in developing AI & ML driven models.
- Experience/knowledge in deploying AI & ML models and putting models into production.
- Experience with Azure Cloud for MLOps is an asset

**Education and Experience**
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, mathematics, statistics, or another relevant area of study.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the areas of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing or data mining.
